At Sammamish Hills we stand with you through the best and worst of life, from Baptism to the Christ’s promises in our final transitions, and everything in between. We are all ministers in Christ's church and to that end there are several opportunities for congregational members to meet friends and impact the community.
Build Community
Impacting the Community.
We make an impact on our surrounding community in more than one way. We host an annual Day of Service where almost 1300 community members spread the love of God by volunteering over 2,700 hours, working in 13 cities serving 40 different organizations.
We open our doors regularly to community organizations including Girl Scouts of Western Washington, Kids Coming Together with the Lake Washington School Foundation, Children’s Synergy Learning Academy in Issaquah, Spotlight Repertory Northwest, Boy Scouts of America, Healthy Communities Coalition gatherings, Grace Chinese Women’s Bible Study, Autism Day Washington, Cupcake Art School, Grace Sammamish Chinese Church and Bible Study Fellowship.
We have partnerships with a variety of local nonprofits such as Eastside Friends of Seniors, Vision House, Lutheran Ministry Services Northwest, Bridge Disability Ministries, United Churches Emergency Fund, Compass Housing Alliance, Luther’s Table, Lutherhaven, Eastside Baby Corner, Northwest Harvest. Visit us and we hope you will see signs of welcome, signs of remembrance of who we are as God’s children, and signs of the community of God’s people.
