DIRECTOR OF
EDUCATIONAL MINISTRIES

Overview:
Provides overall
leadership for Christian education for
infants through 8th grade at Sammamish
Hills Lutheran Church. Works in concert
with staff, lay leadership, and members
to ensure effective and safe ministries
in the areas of development of mid-sized
gatherings for children, youth, and
families; lead, direct, and coordinate
the educational ministries of the
congregation for children, youth, and
families (e.g. Confirmation; Sunday
School, Vacation Bible School, etc.);
develop and provide for weekly programs
for children, youth, and families
throughout the year, as well as special
events. This position will require duty
on nights, weekends, and occasional
travel.
