School Closure Information
 Sammamish Hills Lutheran
Preschool
follows Lake Washington School District’s school closure
plan.
If the radio or TV announces that the Lake
Washington School District will be closed, Sammamish
Hills Lutheran Preschool will be closed.
If Lake
Washington School District has posted a late start
(for any amount of time) the AM classes will be
canceled, and the PM class will be open. Lunch Bunch is
an extended day option of the AM class so when there is
no AM class likewise there will be no Lunch Bunch. In
the event of inclement weather, please check the LWSD
website or
www.schoolreport.org for up to date information
about Puget Sound school closures.
When LWSD district posts a
late start, the AM Kindergarten classes are generally
canceled as well. A late start provides adequate time
for the weather and road conditions to improve so that
all who travel them are safe. Our policy
supports and endorses the safety and well being of
all of our children, families and staff at Sammamish
Hills Lutheran Preschool.
