Question: How do I view a
PDF/Adobe document on my computer?
Answer: You
will need to have Acrobat Reader. You can download it for free here:
Question: I have Adobe
Acrobat Reader but still cannot view the document. What do I do?
Answer: Please make sure that you have
the most current Adobe updates downloaded. This will ensure that you can
view the newsletter as it is intended to be viewed. Here is the link to
the Adobe support downloads page:

Question: The links
don’t work on www.shlc.org.
This usually occurs when we’ve updated the page(s) and your browser has
the older version of the page(s) cached.
Answer:
Request a new copy of the page by hitting “shift” “reload” or
“refresh”.

Review the default fonts in your browser preferences.
Make sure you have selected an option that allows display of
document-specific fonts. Or, if
you’d like the type larger or smaller, choose the one you prefer.
To
set your home page to SHLC using Netscape 4.5:
Under
the “edit” menu, choose “preferences.”
In
the left hand side (white portion) of the “Preferences” dialog box,
click on the word “Navigator.”
In
the right hand side (grey portion) of the same dialog box, ensure that the
radio button next to “Home Page” is selected.
If not, select it.
Just
beneath the three radio buttons, in the white text box next to the word
“Location”,
type in (http:/www.shlc.org).
At
the bottom of the dialog box, click OK to complete the action.
In
the “Internet Options” dialog box, ensure the “General” tab is
displaying in
front
of the other tabs. Click on the
“General” tab, if it is displaying behind the others.
In
the white text box, next to the word “Address”, type in “http:shlc.org”.
At
the bottom of the dialog box, click “OK”
to complete the action
